We're having problems with our X.25 interface and I was wondering
if someone could help us fixing it or have suggestions. The problem
that we are having is that we're unable to receive messages that
are greater than 4K in length. x25mon trace doesn't show any
indications that there's something wrong with the packets or frames.
Our X.25 interface program calls x24_ctr_test which returns 1 that
indicates there is a message waiting to be received. When the
program calls x25_receive it returns a -1 with x25_errno of 215
(X25NODATA). And once X25NODATA error occurs we're unable to
receive smaller messages following the big message. In other words,
it is stuck and the only way to get around it is by restarting the
program. I attached example x25mon trace and X.25 configurations
and output from lsattr command.
If this is the wrong place, please let me know also.
Thanks,
Edgar
This newsgroup is for the IBM Communications Server
for AIX (CS/AIX) product. CS/AIX can use the Artic960Hx
adapter and AIXLink/X.25 but you are not using CS/AIX,
so this is not an appropriate newsgroup for your question.

The Artic960Hx adapter (f/c 2947) was withdrawn from
marketing in October 2006:
http://www.ibm.com/common/ssi/rep_ca/5/897/ENUS906-185
but is still supported. The AIXLink/X.25 v2.1 product:
http://www.ibm.com/common/ssi/rep_ca/0/897/ENUS204-160
is also still supported, so assuming you are paying for
maintenance I suggest opening a PMR with the IBM
support group. The links above may be different
if you are not in the U.S.
